I took mum down to local pub for the lunch club she throughly enjoyed it,the staff had mum ready when I got there hair done and in a wheelchair. They had other residents ready to go aswell with some relatives ,they enjoyed the food and the singer definitely will go again thanks 2 Tracey and other staff
My Father in Law is staying here at the moment. He went for a routine appointment in the morning at the hospital and was later taken ill as they were about to bring him back, we have just been to pick some stuff up as he is staying in hospital to find his door wide open and the room in exactly the same stat as when he left it this morning. He is 88 almost immobile and the staff can't even be bothered to pick up a towel that he dropped or move his dirty clothes. I have been involved in Whiston Hall residential care home for one year having a life long friend in the home The staff are excellent with all residents and nothing is to much trouble The home organises events and keeps the residents occupied through the day The food is very good and plentiful Great atmosphere and great setting in Whiston Fully recommend WCH
I have been working at Whiston Hall for 4 weeks now and really enjoy it. The staff are extremelly knowledgable and treat all the residents not just with essential needs, but love care and attention to detail. It says a lot when the residents praise the staff. This morning we needed to get a resident ready for a day out but was let down by an external hairdresser. Faye did't bat an eyelid and stepped in. She did a full cut and blow dry much to the delight of the resident. Faye was a true star! Thank you!
