Absolut zentral, parken vor der Haustür möglich. Zimmer war ausreichend groß und gemütlich eingerichtet, Bad klein und sauber. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich, auch kurzfristige Buchung war kein Problem. Zum Frühstück kann ein typisch schottisches Frühstück al la cart gewählt werden. Ich kann das veggie Frühstück absolut empfehlen! Abends waren im dazugehörigen Restaurant und haben sehr gut gegessen. Die Whisky Auswahl ist gigantisch!
This is a classic local Dufftown hotel, where you live in the center of Speyside. Lou is a wonderful host(ess), and makes you feel welcome. Rooms are decent, Scottish breakfast is served in the morning, and the restaurant serves memorable dishes. The restaurant also has a extensive whisky collection in the bar. Definitely worth visiting when you want to try something new or special. We have stayed with Lou many times, and we are coming back.
Restaurant: we ordered starters and for 9.50 pounds we had a very small portion of terrine with no bread. The lady brought us one slice of bread for 2.75 pounds. Two sticks of fish with a thimble of mayonnaise for another 9.50 pounds. Nothing to do with the service which was good. Very pricy for that fare.
Great vibe, really friendly staff and Louise was an absolute champion, we forgot a Fitbit watch in the room and she was kind enough to post it all the way to America at her expense. Thank you Louise!
