[UPDATED AUGUST 2022: made a bike reservation on-site and was told to return later that day to pick up. I returned as instructed but no one was there from WoD. Oh well!] I had an awful experience w/ a WoD employee this week. I called ahead of our visit to reserve 2 electric bikes. I spoke with someone there (I believe the owner) who after telling him the day and time we wanted said in a very confident tone not to worry I don’t need a reservation there will be plenty of bikes, just come on by. Guess what?? When we came on by on that day and time there were no bikes! I explained this story to the guy working and he seemed not surprised this happened and also seemed to not care in the slightest. Little customer service goes a long way
Such a great way to explore the island with these bikes! Would recommend 10/10!!
This was the best bike rental experience I have ever had. The owner was more than accommodating when I needed a smaller bike. He went out of his way to get a smaller bike from his offsite warehouse. The bikes took us across the entire island with ease. The owner gave us clear directions to amazing bike paths. Owner is very down to earth, friendly, and generous. Will definitely rent here again next season and tell everyone I know to do the same.
I had a disappointing experience with Wheels of Delight this past week. I called a month ago to reserve 2 bikes for the weekend, knowing it was a busy weekend on the island. I spoke with someone on the phone who was admittedly on their day off, but they said it was no problem and that the bikes would be reserved for us.
