What is sad about it is that, we don’t have any options, we can’t decide on our own not to have to put up with them. They intentionally don’t send out the tax bill on time in order to collect penalties 6 months later some times a year. When asked why they didn’t send the bill in the mail, like normal companies do on time, she claimed it is not their responsibility if we didn’t receive the mail. Worthless- they have no business being in this business. Lost my check for MUD even though my WCID was cashed. They do not return phone calls or respond to emails. Their phone system is horrible.

I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by the Wheeler and Associates MUD #98. For the last two months I have been waiting for them to apply the correct exemption amount. Every time I call them for an update, the front desk staff states "we just received the new exemption value and we are processing it", which is the same message I have been getting for the last 2 months! @Catherine Wheeler, if you cannot run your department efficiently, then resign.

Wheeler hide's behind their Attorney, Young and Brooks, who are only there to send out letters and post a notice on your door on a Thursday, when the Mud Tax office is closed on Fridays! The Attorney's office tell you to deal this Wheeler directly which gets you absolutely no where, 9 months later!! Why has Wheeler been allowed to handle the MUD taxes for Houston and Harris County this long! It is time for change and better treatment of their customers! Plus NOT listed on the BBB! Wonder why!!

Calling for 2 weeks. No one answers nor do they return calls ever! Paid taxes on time got delinquent letter. In addition to that they changed the amount of original tax due. Inaccurate and they stonewall to prevent accountability. Site says they close at 4pm. But when are they open? Never apparently.
