Fun Family Outing Wheaton Village is an awesome place to take the kids for a day. They have penny candy, a playground and train rides for the kids. There are art galleries and a glass blowers exhibit that are pretty neat for the adults. There is also a restuarant next door and a hotel if you want to invite guests from out of town to come!
Beautiful Glass making, museum and more I had the pleasure of going to Wheaton, the grounds are beautiful, you can go in and see them making beautiful glassworks, and you can even pay to take a variety of classes from making your own vase to making glass beads. They have shops with beautiful glass items, and jewelery all hand made. On the grounds you can also take a small train ride on the property, and get something to eat at the restaurants on the property.
