Public mural that is "off limits" to the public is a disgrace. Tucson should be ashamed. If you visit this mural, which the artist literally dedicated to the Tucson Community, there is a dystopian private security camera setup with speaker system that will order you off the property and threaten to call the police. The lot is completely empty and there is no logical reason a tourist should not be allowed to take a few pictures of this public mural. Gave it a 2 as no longer readily accessible. Parking lot is blocked at both entrances; no problem, I’ll park and walk over. About 30 feet into the parking lot a loud, booming recording issues a warning, but not very audible; repeats twice & the closer you get to the mural the more distinct the recording: “WARNING! YOU ARE TRESPASSING. THE TUCSON POLICE HAVE BEEN ADVISED AND DISPATCHED.” I wasn’t getting arrested for taking any photo so I grabbed quick shots and walked out. April 20, 2025. Huge thank you to Starbucks for blocking our view and then closing the store after a year so now it’s just an empty box blocking our view

So pretty but it's a shame that there's a new building possibly a fastfood chain just built and blocking it.
