Over the past two years, this camp has made incredible improvements in every way—beautifully upgraded facilities, exciting and well-planned programs, and a team of staff who are now more engaged, well-trained, and enthusiastic than ever. It’s clear how much effort has gone into making this a safe, fun, and memorable experience for campers. We couldn’t be more impressed!
Terrible summer camp program. Not interested in helping kids or better the community. Their solution? Less oversight. They are no longer licensed by DCYF/DHS at camp. Aren't able to keep a single behavior management staff or social worker because of how corrupt they are. So less oversight was clearly the only option. RUN THE OTHER WAY FROM SUMMER CAMP AT WESTWOOD

This is such a beautiful property and there is so much fun and educational things for children of all ages to do
Poorly managed YMCA camp like pretty much every other YMCA program. Camp was advertised to have Zip line, Water slide, Ropes course, and Giant swing. 3 weeks into camp and none of these are even built yet. My daughter was registered to take the bus to camp and twice she wasn’t on the bus to the camp or home from, so I had to drive 45 min both ways down to the camp to pick her up after hours. No communication. The office is impossible to get ahold of as well as the director. Extremely disorganized
