Mid 90’s grad. How did Westtown School influence the past 30 yrs of my life? In the 1990s Westtown was mostly a place where parents outsourced raising teenagers they didn’t like very much. The school emphasized social/emotional engagement over academics. Were academics emphasized as much as athletics and the arts more of my cohort would have matriculated at schools ranked in the top 50 by US News and World Report (both small Liberal Arts and Research Universities, so 100 in total). 80% did not (facts matter!).
