Zero stars. Transition from previous mortgage holder to weststar a disaster, payments misapplied, rec'd letter from 'Home Retention', like they are trying to scare me. Called the number listed and got... Voicemail! Pathetic. Whatever vc bought this mtg co needs to get their act together. Or is it something more nefarious...

Zero stars! Absolutely horrid company, drops the ball constantly and shifts blame. Refuses to let you speak to management and every time you call for a specific person “they’re out of the office today.” Well, that would explain why your reviews are terrible. I was told today that the person tasked with helping me “isn’t that important and can’t actually help and everything I’m saying to her I need to say to someone else. But manager is out of office today!”
Neglected to pay my homeowners insurance and let it lapse. Called to get it squared away and they said they will force insurance on me. Asked to speak to a manager and was told that it’s not her job to care and that she doesn’t deal with this type of issue. Told me “NO” when I asked to speak to a manager. I have since retained an attorney and will take this matter legally as they failed to follow the law and their obligation.
