I went to open an account and they said there was no time although there was 30 minutes left till closing time, I think Westpac was the wrong choice for me at this point
I loved coming here and was greeted by nice ladies every time . But recently they have gotten nasty and rude .. each staff member has there own preferences and rules and will threaten to not take deposits if they’re preferred rules aren’t met . This makes it hard as I prepare deposits weekly and never know what’s expected from the staff member on that day .. I can see this bank shutting its doors soon as its customer service is so poor . I hope to see improvements
DON’T BELIEVE THE LOW STAR RATINGS!! Not only did the team at Wallsend provide me with exceptional support, but I watched them show every other customer (served before me), with the same level of respect and courtesy. My issue was quickly resolved in a quick and efficient manner. I couldn’t be more pleased with how great the customer experience was at the Wallsend branch. I went to Wallsend Westpac on the 3/12 and experienced the worst customer service. I was waiting in line for over 30 minutes to be served, one of the workers with blonde hair was walking around and talking to her colleague and not serving anyone. She finally served me and was arrogant, rude and unpleasant. I went in to withdraw some money and she snapped back at me asking why I hadnt withdrawn the money from an ATM instead. Line out the door , one teller … very slow service . Many customers walked out , as they were sick of waiting . Atm stopped working too , so all withdrawals had to done by teller . Over 30 min wait to get cash out of account .
