Westpac Bank, Tumut — staff are consistently obliging, polite, and considerate, and go out of their way to be helpful with everyday banking needs. Room for improvement is in document handling at the desk, for example, being told a signed document is the customer’s to keep, then having staff realise mid-transaction that a carbon copy actually needs to be retained. Clearer process and communication around what’s being signed and what each party keeps would smooth this out.

Great bank! The staff at Westpac are fantastic and they are very friendly and helpful, especially Jeremiah, he always goes above and beyond whenever I need help or have a question. The staff are all amazing. 🙂 I goto this bank somewhat regularly and i have never waited in line too long, and the staff have always fixed any problems that I have had and answered any questions that I have asked. (for example losing a bank card, or fixing a pending transaction, etc).
The Tumut branch closed on 27 -28 29 December 2023 Business working days where cash should be deposited and not be held by businesses over the holiday period and to with draw cash as well , Holiday when people need to deposit and withdraw money when some can only with draw limited amount through the ATM, WAGGA branch was open which takes 1-5 hour drive from Tumut , Not a good Look for Westpac Tumut Branch ,
