Terrible experience. I attended the branch for a transaction report after being told to come in after calling the help centre,only to be refused little to no help and sent elsewhere to print documents. This isn’t my first or second poor experience here. The staff member I dealt with was dismissive and, especially for a Monday morning, had a very poor attitude. The ATMs are consistently out of order or not accepting deposits. Considering that it's impossible to get into the branch if you work 9-5, the least they could do is have a functioning automated banking method.
I really wasn't sure about just walking in and asking about internet security and openning another account, but I ended up talking to a gentleman by the name of Brett who gave all the time in the world to discuss different options and step by step guides on using the Westpac app more securely. It quickly turned into a really pleasant and uplifting experience.
The 5 Star I have put in is for Brett only. I was first trying to get help off some arrogant person who I have since found out is there to check on its staff. Suggest you look at your self first pal. You were extremely rude and not helpful at all. Thank you Brett for your service which was first class. I think you should be the Manager there.
Worst experience ever, Brett was terrible with customer service, the whole culture in this team is quite arrogant, no smile, terrible with communication, let u wait
