I was disappointed with the customer service at Westpac Northland. Unfortunately, Rina was extremely rude and spoke to customers in a very dismissive tone, which made for an unpleasant experience. Thankfully, Rosalina was there and was incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful. She completely turned the experience around. I visited the Westpac Northland branch to resolve an issue with my online banking, which had been locked due to suspected unauthorised transactions. I waited approximately 45 minutes while the staff member repeatedly advised me that she was working on my case. I was happy to wait patiently because I believed the issue was being resolved. I wasted three weeks with Westpac trying to open a business account. It was not possible; they just kept asking me to wait so that their system would sync with ASIC in order to match my personal details. After multiple calls and visiting the branch multiple times (three weeks in total), I decided to go to NAB. They opened the business account within a couple of hours.
I wastes two weeks with Westpac to open the business account. I spoke with 5 different people over the phone and the lady from the branch at Northland who told me to wait until ASIC records and their records match. After waiting for 2 weeks and going to the branch 3 times for nothing l decided to go to another bank. I went to NAB and they opened the business acocount immediatelly.
