We had arranged a meeting with a business banker, only to arrive and discover they were off sick. Unfortunately, nobody contacted us beforehand to let us know, which wasted our time. The staff at the branch were genuinely apologetic and did their best to help, so this isn’t a criticism of them. Rather, it’s a reflection of Westpac’s poor systems and processes. I hope this feedback encourages improvements so other customers don’t have the same experience.
Absolutely the worst customer service i have ever witnessed. One Teller on with 6 people waiting as she had to call other departments, people sitting on the floor while waiting.an older person needing help with a machine and staff snapping at them "read the machine it tells you what to do" appalling attitude, eye rolling, you name it.
My car was broken down I was trying to with draw money with my card for some reason my pin word initially and then it didn’t and the atm took my card . The staff could see I was stranded it was 8.30 and they didn’t open till 9.30 - I get they have rules but there is room for helping people in need this is an uncommon situation but they were so selfish and unkind not to help . Went in here 4 times but could not do any business because the “machine” wasn’t working. Unbelievable. Just told to sit down and wait without any indication of time. Complete waste of time.
A big THANK YOU to all the staff at the Indooroopilly branch today( Sat 29/03)..The beautiful lady who sorted my problem out in 5 minutes was amazing...many many thanks to her ,and the other staff i dealt with were such a delight...it was an absolutel pleasure. I have been with Westpac for 22 years an$d i would not change.
