I needed to open a debit account and I’m lucky to have been assisted by Sarah, the Bank Manager at the Elsternwick branch. She was the one who made it possible to book me an appointment within the day, and made sure I was okay with the times, checking in along the way. EDIT: next visit was very helpful and solved all my issues — maybe I just came on an off day - reported a fraudulent credit card application - was told on phone to do a fraud interview in branch - waiting 30 mins in line at Westpac elsternwick - was told fraud interviews can’t be completed in branch - called fraud team again who said fraud interview is impossible over the phone and must be completed in person at a branch! Recently requested an appointment with Westpac Elsternwick and was impressed by how quickly they responded. An appointment was arranged within two days, which made the whole process very convenient. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my visit. They took the time to answer my questions and provided excellent customer service. Overall, it was a positive experience.
Dani Dani and the staff are helpful. Lines are reasonable and quick and I'm always happy with the support. Thank you so much for being organised, I've noticed these sentiments are not the norm with banks generally.
