What a horrible experience I had here. I haven’t gone into a branch in years and didn’t realise how poor the standards are now. I used the ATM to deposit money. It didn’t accept my deposit and then spat it all back out minus 1 note. I lined up to speak to a staff member. It astonished me how they only have 2 staff on for such a busy bank. It took me 30+ minutes to get it resolved. When they found out I was bank of Melbourne they acted like it was a huge inconvenience. After a terrible experience across the road at the Commonwealth bank today, my brother and I came into the Elsternwick Westpac Branch. We were pleasantly greeted by Sarah, a bank manager who assisted us. We had a lovely conversation and what we came in for got sorted out with very quickly.
