I have been a Westpac customer for over 30 years and a RAMS home loan customer for 7 years, and I am appalled at how my accounts have been handled. In preparation for moving my loan to a new lender — a transfer that hasn't even taken place yet — RAMS/Westpac closed my offset accounts and moved approximately $30,000 of my own money into a Westpac holding account, with no prior notice and without contacting me in any way. Phoned the branch at least 6 times today, left a message for a call back.... nothing! The Westpac website is also a major joke. You can only book an online appointment with the branch if it relates to a home loan, otherwise they don't want to know about you
If you want your time wasted and to experience very poor customer service, then please go to this Westpac branch. You will not be disappointed
I visited on Wednesday, 3 July, between approximately 3:00 pm and 3:30 pm. My experience at the front desk was very disappointing. The staff member I dealt with was unfriendly and dismissive, which made it difficult to receive proper assistance. I was surprised by the level of service, as it did not feel welcoming or professional. I also noticed a noticeable difference in attitude when interacting with different customers. ATM machine !! Use At your own risks. Money got retained in this branches ATM. Old machine and not replaced. The process getting money back to account is not efficient. Caused whole lot of trouble
