One of the most unhelpful experiences. Had to move 100k into an offset account with a different bank for a house deposit. The old woman working the desk clearly struggled with the digital side of her job so she came back with paperwork and everytime I asked her to clarify what I'm supposed to fill out on particular lines of the form she said "I can't help you". You'd think an institution whose job it is to move money would be able to "help me" move money.
The staff are usually nice. I had $10000 to deposit, no pocket big enough, so from car park to bank put it in my bra, hadn't even cracked a sweat, teller, oh, yuck, it's been in your bra, 5min, where else could I put it, down my pants, & everyday, she'd be touching money & not giving it a second thought, Where THAT money has been! Christine, usually at the Willows Westpac branch, provided us with an amazing, attentive and highly effective service. The transaction she helped us with we couldn’t have done without her expert help. The best personal banking experience we have ever had!
