Woman at the front desk named Geetah gave me wrong information regarding my home loan repayments now my everyday account is overdrawn $2k+ after following her instructions. According to her direct debit will not work if you have insufficient funds even though I told her it does because I have overdrawn activated on my account, now I ended up paying my mortgage twice in one day. Well done for hiring stupid staff Westpac, if home loans isn't your role, DONT GIVE ADVICE!
Absolutely atrocious. The girl at desk at front door is rude and has no clue what her role in the bank is. Lucky I'm not the manager or she would be looking for a new job. Management should look at shuting the branch down as it is understaffed and pretty much useless. Westpac customers beware online banking but not from scammers stealing your money but westpac themselves stealing it.

Very slow service. They don’t have enough staff to look after the customers.
My husband and I needed to open a business account so I went into the store thinking I could do it but turns out we both had to be there. Although it was very frustrating that we both needed to be there in person (with 2 little kids and busy working lives) Uma was very accommodating and super helpful. Offered to set up a time or come in early/during her lunch break so my husband could get there.
