Wanted to open an account for my daughter after school and opening hours say till 4pm.Not the case ..arrived at 3.15pm and all closed..trying to ring them is just as bad with multiple messages left without a call back.

Good branch for me to stop by solved my issues quickly. It is now inside the mall - was told by locals that they merged with St George.

Very disappointed today, on the q for about 20mins and the staff not able to wait 5s to calculate my notes. Sorry for the wait,hehe if your machine not random take notes and not correct amount I will not on the q thanks!!! She said to me that's ok? Really miss.... I can wait for you. But you can't wait for me,don't you dare to let me went back to the q wait again and come back very funny in a way. Thanks for the new faces experience with this at westpac.

And one star is far too high for the absolute ridiculous slow service with no consideration for customers. Booked an appointment 3months ago, rushed to get to the appointment only to be told the manager was on leave. No notice. No effort to accommodate very disappointing event.

I had fraud done on my account via telephone banking. I went in to the branch. The Asian guy at the front desk didn’t care much about a long time customer. I wasn’t warned about the $600 that unwillingly came out of my account. I had $50 in my name and they said they would give me a voucher for woolies. Two days have gone by and still nothing. They seem like there money hungry selfish people. DO NOT RECOMMEND WESTPAC TO ANYONE. AM GOING TO TELL ANYONE I KNOW WHICH HAS SAVINGS WITH WESTPAC TO CHANGE BANKS BECAUSE OF THE LACK ... read more
