Atrocious customer service. Why anyone would bank with westpac with this standard is beyond me

After a period of absence from Australia and having in the past banked with Westpac went to this branch to reopen an account. One person in the queue for the one teller station open, so stood in front of desk “can we help you”. Stood there for probably10 - 15 min in full view of a rather bored looking young man in an office who was staring at his computer screen. By now there were 5 or 6 people in queue for teller.
