UPDATE: There's always something that frustrates me about Weston Terrace. It's probably best that I try to forget about bad situations in the past, e.g. when my loved one fell as a result of the PSW's neglect and had to be sent to hospital. The return trip by private ambulance cost ME, not Weston Terrace, $175. Also, the time that the new OHIP card, which had been sent by mail, was delivered to my loved one's room instead of to the Administrator who is actually in charge of all residents' OHIP cards. ETC. It's not easy to move your parents into long-term care, not even a week into our mom's stay,I brought in a small (plastic)side table to put some precious photos on ...when I was followed by "Audrey"(psw) all the way down the hall INTO my mom's room and questioning me about this miniscule side table !!! Our family is incredibly grateful for the warm welcome and compassionate care my father has received since transitioning to Weston Terrance Community. Moving into a long-term care home is never easy, but the staff has gone above and beyond to make the process smooth and reassuring. Their kindness, patience, and attentiveness have helped him feel comfortable and at home in a short amount of time. I came for a tour scheduled at 1:30pm No one showed up until 2:16pm. The customer service was very poor. The tour was provided by another staff who did a good job.
