Jeannet Lagco was super helpful when I came into the bank today. She walked me through how to set up INTERAC transfers so I wouldn’t have to deal with bank drafts for my car loan (I don’t bank with Westoba), which made things way easier for me. What really impressed me was that she followed up later with an email explaining everything again and even included an example to make sure it all made sense. Really appreciated her going above and beyond.
I love working with Chris and his team at this branch. I've had nothing but positive and value add experiences doing my personal and business banking here. Thanks for making fun and easy.
Not sure about the negative reviews. I’ve been with them for 30 years. That tells you a lot. I’ve dealt with the other big banks and they are a major headache. Westobas fees are comparable or less than the big banks. Their gic and savings rate with partner maxa are some of the best in the country and being a credit union unlimited deposit amounts are guaranteed and insured, unlike the big banks limited amount. Terrible place to deal with! This place should be shut down! The staff members are incredibly rude to clients at this location in Winnipeg. They will not cash a cheque that has their company logo and address on it to a non-member. Cheque has a westoba logo on the cheque and they will not touch it worst service ever! 0 stars don't even deserve a 1
