The worst credit union in the state. 14 to 21 day hold on deposits, even though check was a payoff of a loan from Bank of Oklahoma. No customer service. Rude behavior exhibited by cashiers. If you deposit cash instead of having a hold placed on a check deposit you are treated like a drug dealer rather than a customer. I am out. Going back to a REAL bank instead of this make believe bank. Was steered here by a car dealer. Never again!
RecommendedAshley has helped me many times since i live out of the country part time. She always goes above and beyond. Another, Iris Cardenas was a huge help recently doing some transactions and she was very quick, timely and attentive. Iris was one of the reasons a person stays with a bank, even though it may be a little far away. She and Ashley both have made my phone calls a positive moment every time.
Very poor service when you actually need something!
After experiencing difficulties buying a new car, my dad recommend I try WSFCU, as they are members with their auto loans from WSFCU. I met with Kirstin downtown, and she was hands down the best experience I’ve had to get financed for my new car. Super easy, she was clear with all of the documents she needed, and it was incredibly smooth. If you haven’t tried WSFCU, give Kirstin a call downtown!
Absolutely love Western Sun Federal Credit Union! We have have used them for all our loans. They are very helpful and very nice. I highly recommend them! If anyone is looking for a loan call Lindsay Henderson, she is the bomb!
I personally love Western Sun Federal Credit Union. I've had multiple Vehicles financed through them super easy and convenient ways to make my payments. I even got a personal loan when I was going through some personal stuff in my life and needed the money the next day. All I did was call the Okmulgee branch talk to Kristen and within 30 minutes I had my loan.. I'm very pleased with my banking experience and I will keep on banking with Western Sun Federal Credit Union.

I have been a member for several years and have taken out and fully paid 2 car loans. I recently applied for a small loan for a medical bill and was denied due to a mistake on my application. I feel as a member, it was a mistake that should have raised a red flag and I should have been notified to have the issue fixed, instead of denied. If they actually had more of a personal relationship with their members like credit unions are supposed to, the mistake WOULD have been seen.
