They have done a lot of internal improvements. My father is now a resident (alert and aware) and he is very Happy there. Yes, it is an old building, but many things are good there.

My 94 y/o dad lives here. I was nervous sending him after the publicity. I visited him there in May of this year. I was pleasantly surprised. He is happy there and they have a lot of activities (he has his mind so enjoys such things). Nursing staff was plentiful (both nurses/CNAs) and when he put on his call light he never waited long. I went to a care conference for him also. They were very engaged and genuinely want to do the right thing. He says the food is good. My experience here was the worst. I have worked in this field for over 20 yrs and never seen anything like this place. The nurses are not attentive to the patients, they won't help with answering lights so if your family member was in distress they will have to wait on a CNA . I would not put my dog at this place to stay. I was hired help and was treated rudely the whole time. The administrator is very rude sits in his office all day and has no clue to what goes on.
