Without Westconsin Credit Union we wouldn't have been able to buy the building for our business. They do a fantastic job working with small businesses and we've moved all of our accounts to this wonderful credit union. The customer service is outstanding.
So I have been a customer for over 20 years. Used to love Westconsin. Now as the years go by and they make "improvements". I am not so sure I can say that now. I used to be able to have an overdraft at 8 am and as long as I brought my account into the positive by 3 pm, they wouldn't charge me a fee. Well today, I got a shock. I will say I only spoke briefly with Brandon Whitman about lot/construction loans after an online inquiry, however he called quickly and was so so friendly and informative. If you’re seeking mortgage info, I imagine he would be such a pleasure to work with. Sure hoping everything goes smoothly and we’re able to work with him on in the near future!
Less than stellar rating is due to previous transaction that necessitated this one. Changed signatories only on one account. Needed to make new emergency arrangements to correct the signers on the second account. Should have all been handled at one time. Perhaps there is not a method for the customer service rep to see that there are more accounts for the same owners, if not, there should be.
Except for one outside credit card I do all my financial business with Westconsin. I like that it's a credit union, not a bank. It's local with regional branches. As an established customer, loan applications are simple and swift. Their online banking is user-friendly and logical and allows my wife and I to share accounts. Westconsin is also very involved with community.
