I wrote a poor review a few years ago and I would actually like to say that the past 4 years have changed my mind completely. Compared to other local practices Westbury deliver a good service where you can usually get an appointment on the day if you call early. They have recently looked after both me and my two children when we have been ill and I can only say that we've been seen and treated promptly and I have been very satisfied with our care.
After waiting the promised 6-8 weeks for the results of an x-ray, the hospital moved the goal posts to 20 weeks. One chase up letter from the surgery, and the results were in the following day! As I'd had a tumour in that wrist previously, a 20 week delay could have been disastrous, so my sincere thanks for sorting this out!
We returned to the practice having left it over 20 years ago. Yes the building is tired and dated but we find the staff to be very friendly and helpful, especially given the constraints they operate under i.e. appointment booking system. I recently had a concern regarding a mole, a referral was made immediately to the dermatology department at Shrewsbury Hospital. Everything was sorted within a week and a benign diagnosis confirmed. So thanks to the practice and Hospital for their swift action.
Needs the large pot hole fixing just has you go in the car park it's been like this for months and months and nothing been done about it
Shocking and dangerous service. We had a life changing diagnosis two years back, which requires ongoing support. One particular GP at the practice is dismissive, rude and obnoxious. They have made it clear that this life changing diagnosis is more inconvenient for them than it is for us. They are a complete narcissist who created a dangerous situation which involved attendance to A&E later that day.
