I lived at this group home years ago... There is nothing good I can say about this place. There is so many things that are just not right it.... The staff did not care and it was obvious to us all they didnt. Im well aware of the fact they do not make much money working there however, Most of the child care workers were only there to order the residents around. 7 years I spent in this home. Most rewarding. This was 1945-1952. Things were different then.
i was once in the childrens home in Elkins and yet it was scary being away from my home i was treated like it was my family and i believe that if it wasnt for this place i wouldnt be the person i am today
