Manager is crooked. Made all kinds of excuses why he could not give me a receipt for an order and then when I canceled it for that reason--again no receipt for that. I was reordering after returning two 1/4" turnbuckels which turned out to be one size too small--these were bough off the shelf a few days earlier. I purchased a Magma Catalina Grill for the last 4th of July celebration. The grill itself appears to be well-built and promising in terms of quality. However, my experience shopping at West Marine in Long Beach, CA was one of the worst I’ve had. I ordered the grill along with the mounting hardware online and had it shipped to the Long Beach store for pickup. Almost 1 month ago I made the purchase of 8 life jackets. At the time of making the purchase it appeared to me that the shipment to the Miami address took 3 to 5 days, it has been 1 month and I still have no news, no one answers my emails or answers the phone. A real disaster. I do not recommend anyone make a direct web purchase from West Marine.
Cheryl Ducote help was outstanding . We went in for a fishing boat pump, looked everywhere, mentioned it to Cheryl as we we checking out, and she went straight to the pump we needed.
Nita Ducote is the most awesome cashier at the Marathon Fl . She is the most helpful person there.
We would like to commend Rob and Sharon at West Marine Danvers. They worked through a lengthy warranty issue. All the while with patience, professionalism, and a sense of humor. It is rare supply it’s kind of customer service. We are so grateful and we thank them for their hard work.
If I could give no star I would choose that. If you are looking to receive your product in a timely manner you really should look elsewhere. We ordered a transducer extension cable due to be delivered the end of April. Called the online customer service they said it showed deliver to the store 5/5 called the store they said they did not have it in perhaps coming on the truck Friday 5/7. Called and went to the Store late Friday and there were 6 employees on the floor and my husband and two customers. They advise it was... read more

I went to West Marine the other day and the lady that works there was very kind and helpful. She was busy putting stock up and assisting other customers and was the only person that found the time to assist me also. She knew exactly where the product i needed was and gave me the best options. I walked out with exactly what I wanted and will be coming back! I recommend to anyone coming here to ask for the lady that works there because she knows exactly what she’s doing!
