Shopped there with my brother & Abby helped my Mother. She was wonderful & was so nice & informative. First time for me but my brother shops there alot so I was pleased with the experience.
Great customer service.. I ordered an online item shipped to the store but I was not able to go to the store to pick it up. Store manager Abigail shipped it to my home free of charge the next day. A great store, great customer service.
I was attempting to purchase 2 penn rod and reel combos, spin fisher 6500 and a spin fisher 7500. Both at $199.99 each along with assorted tackle. The purchase would've been around $500 with everything I brought to the front counter. I've shopped at other west marine locations and never had any issues. I asked the woman at the front register if they spool reels, simple question. She wasn't sure. As a Florida to Tennessee transplant, I had no idea that some West Marine stores did not carry fishing supplies. It did not even occur to me to call and ask the question, simply because of the dozen or so locations I have visited in the Sunshine State, fishing gear was a given. I was quite disappointed and see no need to visit this location again.
Lots of cute clothes and shoes. Prices are good especially when they are always having a sale. Returning items are easy.
DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! I purchased an anchor setup for my 30 ft. boat from West Marine for $100 and the first time that I anchored my boat the shackle that they sold me to hold the anchor to the chain broke and I lost my anchor. When I called and spoke with the manager about it she told me that she would look into it and call me back and let me know what they could do. I waited two days with no reply back from her. If you find yourself standing at the service counter for 10 minutes and some guy named Walter comes in don't be surprised if some woman comes running over and helps him first. I needed the part right away or I would have left. The only saving grace was the serviceman that was busy ran over right away to help me. I needed 3 other items for boating but I'll pick them up somewhere else.
DONT TAKE YOUR CLOTHES HERE!!!!!! I took my 500 dollar suite here to be cleaned and when I got my suite back it was filled with holes caused from heat. I thought the clothes were cleaned on site but they ship all the clothes to a warehouse where its all lumped together in 1000 pound loads. I had to call 3 times before I got a hold of a manger who had to ship my suite to the ware house so the owner could look at it. When I got called back the manger told me the holes were caused by moths and she said this type of thing happen... read more
