I ordered something online to pick up in store here and unfortunately wasn’t able to get to the store in time, but they held it for me anyway, and the woman running the counter immediately knew what I was talking about as soon as I came up to the counter. Very impressive in general, but especially for retail in 2026!
I am a long term boater and have owned many boats, my current boat, a Targa, will soon be moored in Cap Sante Marina. I have enjoyed shopping at West Marine for years spending many thousands of dollars and getting some excellent products and advise in return. Today I stopped by the Anacortes Wedt Marine. Offered discount and would not honor it.
While the reviews are true, the store is reasonably well stocked. They tend to only have one of anything which is not helpful if you need two of anything. I also find their customer service to be exceedingly weak. They don’t seem to be able to have any flexibility to accommodate a very simple request or to assist you to resolve problems. They can’t find on the floor or in the catalog things I have purchased at that location previously. Wildly disappointed, and I used to be a frequent shopper.
