there amazing nice and helpful
We've experienced WEST hospitality, rentals, and service in summer and now also for winter activities. We took advantage of the cozy stay & play rental, which is only a block to the bike shop and a short ride to the RAMBA trails. They have a good selection of cross country skis and lots of winter gear, plus I found some good sales on Scott running shoes. Thanks for the XC ski trail suggestions --we had a blast at the Ishpeming Ski Club and Nordic Center during our visit. See you in the spring!
Best bike shop around, most likely best bike shop ever! The owner, Spencer is one of the most down to earth people I’ve ever met. Jess, who usually runs the front end of the shop is just simply an amazing human. All of the employees at West End are super passionate about outdoor sports and are always willing to help get you, or keep you on the trails without having to spend a ton of cash. My son and I rented mountain bikes here and rode the trails around Ishpeming. The people were super friendly and helpful, explaining all the details on the bike and ensuring the seat height and pedals were just right. They gave us an overview of the trails, then, after we returned, went over pricing on the models we rode and what alternatives would cost. The overall experience here was excellent and we're planning to come back again the next time we're in town.
Sent a service request for what I thought needed attention on my bike. lo and behold it was just a user error. Spencer came in when he was closed on a holiday weekend and sent me off with a smile and good wishes. Fantastic experience for my brief visit!
