Had an excellent experience with West Elm Bondi Junction. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We opted to assemble ourselves and the instructions were clear. Great product. Additionally, the delivery company they used (ANC) was faultless with great tracking, easy to deal with customer support, and professional service.
Such a horrible customer experience. I live in Bondi but the Bondi Junction store didn’t stock the item and they advised I needed to order it online. The item was shipped using DHL which don’t provide any updates the expected delivery date post the first attempt. Customer service is in the USA and the phone line connection is very poor. They mistakenly sent a second item, and now chasing to collect the second item but will not accept and digital label. Possibly the worst customer service I have ever experienced - Place a click and collect order and was notified I needed to collect it within 7 days. Called and asked if it could be sent to me at the children's hospital (which it couldn't), but reassured I would have 7 days to collect. Then I get an email my order has been cancelled and returned to stock because I didnt collect after 5 days! Pardon me for being a customer. Every time I’ve been to west elm it’s been made clear to me by the staff that asking for help as a customer has been an imposition. But you have to ask because they busy themselves with everything but serving their customers - putting out stock, packing boxes, doing something on the computer at the service desk. Seems like I am in the minority but i have never had a problem with their products or delivery. They have always been great quality and fair pricing. As an interior designer I find what you see is what you get with their products online. Having said that I know during and post covid their were major delays. I havent had to return anything so can't speak on that. They often have products you cant find anywhere else in sydney which i love
