We were excited to find the carpet we wanted in stock in the store, but when we brought it home were dismayed to find that it was used - dirty and frayed on the edges, with leaves rolled up inside. Presumably, this carpet had been used as a model on the floor, and then put back in stock, or was a return (what the heck!). As compensation, we were offered 10% off a carpet, but only if we could pick one out that was in stock in the store. I have called the Boulder, Colorado store three times to receive assistance with my delayed order. I have talked to someone every time about my issue, which is that my furniture was to be delivered between November 25-December 9th but I was notified it would not come until March! I went to cancel my order due to the ridiculous delay and was told I could not. No one has gotten back to me after assuring that they would. Shoutout to the team at West Elm Boulder, especially Stacie, Grace, and Lucas! Every visit feels easy and enjoyable because everyone is so kind, thoughtful, and on top of things. The store is always clean, styled beautifully, and laid out in a way that actually helps me picture things in my space. It’s one of the places that makes Boulder feel like home for me.
