I am extremely disappointed with my experience at West Elm. After spending a ridiculous amount of money on a full living room set, I expected much better service and communication. It has been months, and I still have no idea where my furniture is. Nobody seems to have a clue about the status of my order, and the lack of updates is frustrating. I was given a W E gift card for my birthday. After reading the reviews for the West Elm at Carytown, I braced myself for disappointment. The vibe is bored/affected luxury, but I had a good experience. (There were three other associates present, some on laptops, who were completely aloof. I enjoy privacy when shopping. I have spent over $5,000 at West Elm and am very disappointed with their customer service in the store. Very rude and immature associates. Managers and associates are not well trained to handle certain situations and put impulsive emotions over professionalism. West Elm is a high end reputable store and their employees do not represent them in a good light.
Patrick was very rude and the other 2 little girls didn’t want help all because he didn’t knew how to do his job so she got mad didn’t want help would not recommend this LOCATION very bad customer service
I have been to the store in Richmond on Cary street at least 7 times. I am building a home and love the items I see online. Furniture, rugs, light fixtures! But when it come to the store to actually SEE the items, they are not in store. Rugs: no swatches, not displayed, and when I called ahead to make sure they had the rug , they told me it was in store.
