I was coaxed into buying a set of white tencel king sheets and duvet set with shams for over $500. I even asked for instructions at the store on how to wash them. The care instructions on the website completely contradicted what was told to me in the store. These are the absolute worst sheets that I have ever purchased in my life. Beautiful store! I appreciated that the staff gave me space to browse. They were available for questions but not intrusive. I’m no interior designer, but much of the larger furniture had a midcentury modern aesthetic (I think!). I had a lovely time perusing.
Love this store. My husband, mother in law and I went in to get a full set for a bed. We asked for help several times and no one came to help. So we just went through the different duvets and quilts and sheets ourselves. We had a great experience enjoying ourselves as we created the look we wanted but help was definitely no where to be found. I went online to order a dining table from West Elm, only to learn at checkout that I would be forced to use and pay for their white glove delivery service for an additional $429 (which I did not need or want). I called a local West Elm store and they also said it was the only option. They would not ship to the store either. This is a deceptive practice in my opinion and I will be purchasing a table elsewhere instead.
