Isn't West Elm supposed to be sustainable? I have a west elm couch and my puppy chewed up one of the cushions. I called customer service to try to buy a replacement and was told there were no options for me to do so because I didn't have my order # (it was purchased second hand). I wanted to buy brand new cushion inserts + covers in order to act sustainably in accordance with my values, not disposing of such a large item directly into waste when all I needed was a seat cushion insert + cover replacement. Stay away from this place (including their sister brands pottery barn and william sonoma) unless you are just buying something at the store and do not require delivery. The delivery and customer service is absolutely horrible. They do not stand behind the time window they promise to deliver and do not even bother calling to let you know delivery timing will change. Store is lovely and in great location in SM. I’ve placed two orders for pick up and both times I’ve showed up (once on a Sat AM and other time on Thursday mid-morning), and no one could help me for at least 10 min. No one cared I’d been waiting or apologized for the delay. They don’t have enough people to manage the store. If you come be prepared to wait.

I came into this store today to purchase a table I had seen online. I asked the sales associate if we could remove the leaf to see the size of the table and she responded rudely that it was not possible due to the large amount of merchandise stacked on the table. I was hoping to see how the table worked before spending $1,000 on a table, but it is seemingly not possible at this store. Very rude and unprofessional environment.
