Contrary to many others, I had a very good experience with the staff. Yesterday I came to pick up 6 chairs. The chairs barely fit my car, but a staff member took the time to help me puzzle them in. She was very polite and helpful. I also like the store. I'll be coming back.
A rough experience. From purchase, to wait, to support dropping the ball. Just really frustrating. To sitting on hold for 20+ minutes. To just hang up. I guess I expected a lot more for the price. Save yourself the hassle. The delivery team was very helpful and did a excellent job. They moved the fruniture in smoothly. Also sent three folks not two. That gets it to two stars vs one.
Seriously? Closing at 6!! pm on Sunday? When are people supposed to shop???
The West Elm near Hillsdale Mall is in a very convenient location with a beautiful showroom. I actually found the exact sofa I wanted while browsing here! However, the overall experience was a bit of a mixed bag. The store or staff were not organized, and when I asked for samples of the specific fabric I wanted, they didn't have them available. The showroom is great for initial inspiration, but anything beyond that felt disorganized, so I ultimately just ended up ordering everything online.
Large showroom, high quality in reasonable prices. The staff is very helpful.
