The managers at this location were diabolical. I tried to return 2 colin king lamps, as new condition. They already had 2 out on the floor for sale, so I didn't think I needed ALL the original packaging. The lights were defective and missing parts and I hated them once I assembled. The manager crew was flabbergasted and could not fathom why I didn't keep the box. It was embarrassing to watch. One manager said 4x, oh wow you don't have the box! West Elm in Paramus is a great place to shop! While the collection isn’t huge, the pieces they do have are stylish and high-quality. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. We were assisted by Yaris, who went above and beyond to help us design every detail for our new home. Her guidance made the entire process easy and enjoyable.

I am writing to formally complain about the condition of the furniture I received The Dining Table arrived with significant damage, specifically [big Crack on the side of the table]. This unacceptable, especially for a new product. I contacted your service team immediately to report this issue. I was disappointed to learn that, instead of arranging for a replacement or an exchange for another Dining table nobody was able to help. They had the nerve to offer $160. What a lack of respect for your customer

I purchased a sofa five months ago with the promise that it would arrive in November. Then they postponed it to January, and just two weeks later, to March. They charged me the full amount upfront, yet after half a year, I still have no sofa — and their customer service is completely unresponsive through every possible channel. Absolutely unacceptable and feels like a total scam.

Let me tell you about West Elm furniture. I spent $3000 on a dining table with custom chairs, waited 4 months to get it and 8 months later it looks like shit! The finish is peeling and sticky. I have only used wood cleaner, we use placemats and have been so careful. Today they told me it’s my fault, I should only use a dry cloth on it. NO cleaner! On a dining table. Where we eat food!!!! So now I am stuck with a $3000 table that looks like shit. I will NEVER give them my business again and I urge you to do the same.
