Bed purchase from a sales lady who LIED. Nobody greeted us. We had to flag someone down to help us, who was pretty short with us. I get that it’s a prime busy Saturday so we let it go. What we didn’t appreciate was when my husband said he wanted to look under the mattress to see how far it’ll sink into the bed frame, she said why would he wanna do that? just trust her that it’ll sink into the frame and that it’s a low bed. I’m so annoyed. The shipping fees mixed with returns. I actually ended up paying more than half for a product (bean bag), actually 1 1/2 times the product in shipping fees. Even on one of them I BROUGHT BACK TO STORE MYSELF. I think I may be done with William Sonoma company. Spent a good amount of money there with different furniture. What an unbelievable headache. I’m speaking of dealing with online ordering and CS. Not Paramus location.
Every single person I dealt with from the customer service reps to the delivery hub staff was rude and unhelpful. If I had known how awful West Elm’s customer service was, I would’ve never placed an order in the first place. They deceive customers when placing an order, giving false expectations, and then end up holding on to the furniture for a full 6 months even though the original estimated delivery was 2-3 months.
