I’ve been coming here for years for business reasons beyond my control. This site is chronically understaffed - it shouldn’t take 30 minutes of waiting in line for the simplest of transactions. It takes these guys about 7 minutes to cash a check. The agents have to ask a supervisor for help to cash a check for less than a grand. It must be demoralizing to know their billionaire bosses don’t trust them one bit.
As a young African American male who owns multiple restaurants in the city and have been banking with you guys for over 10 years this is completely unacceptable. I have over 5 accounts with you guys! Stephany Elias the branch operation associate here at this branch denied my withdraw saying it’s a pending transaction when I left two other branches today and was able to withdraw from the same account. I came in here today and tried cashing a large check, while I’ve been a customer at Wells Fargo for over 10 yrs. My name on the check had a small error and I pleaded with them to ask that they please cash it and they said no. I asked multiple times and the manager who is Hispanic said no. I was upset and said other banks would make an exception so I feel like they can too, and maybe I need to switch banks and he said and we can make that happen too.
