AVOID. AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE.
AVOID WELLS FARGO AND THIS BRANCH IN PARTICULAR. As a long time customer (30 years dating back to First Union), went to local branch to cash paper savings bonds as have done previously in this branch. Bonds are in my son's name; was turned away because the teller said they had fraud concerns and that he would need an account there. Teller seemed more interested in setting up a new account so she could get comped versus trying to assist a long time customer. JoJo the teller would not order me a replacement debit card without my Drivers License due my lost wallet but she deposited a check into my account. She told me I had to call the 800 # or download the bank app to order a new debit card. I went home and called the 800# to order a new debit card and found out I had unauthorized transactions from the lost card and the account was over-drafted. The teller did not offer to check for unauthorized transactions. The two tellers were more interested in telling me what they couldn't d... read more
