I received a call a week ago with an offer for a better interest rate on the savings I have with Wells Fargo. I’m just probably a five figure certificate of deposit or something along those lines.I set up an appointment for today, April 6, 2026, to meet with a banker at the Cloquet branch at 10:30 in the morning. Not a huge fan of Wells Fargo but I went in a couple days ago pretty late and got help from Alesia. They walked me through everything and were very personable. I really enjoyed working with them!!!
I went to the drive through to deposit a check. The check was endorsed over to me by my spouse as it came from her health savings account to reimburse me for a purchase for two pair of eyeglasses. I Use my Wells Fargo credit card for the purchase. My spouse endorsed the check and below her endorsement she had written “pay to the order of” with my name next to it. I also had her write on the check “for deposit only”. I was told they could not cash the check unless my spouse was there and because of “the amount”. It was for $1... read more
