Came to deposit a large check as it cannot be done with mobile deposit. Walked up to the door at 5:02 as I got held up at work. The doors were still open… The manager rushed to the door and literally locked it in my face making eye contact. A deposit does not take ample amount of time. Either way- to look me dead in the eye and lock the door rather than speaking to me was next level poor business practice. Do better.
Tengo cuenta en este banco y hasta hoy tuve una muy mala y discriminada experiencia. Hoy acompañé a un familiar a abrir una cuenta de ahorros y la persona que nos atendió solamente le preguntó su nombre y país de origen, somos de Nicaragua e inmediatamente nos dijo que no podía abrir la cuenta sino tenía una greencard Permanent!! Ni siquiera pidió más información. En este país hay muchos estatus legales para vivir y trabajar no solamente Greencard!!. Went there to open another account. They told me no time we are closing in an hour. And was told to make an appointment. Never heard that at a bank.
I have banked here for seven years and found the tellers very helpful; not just to me but to individuals of various backgrounds and languages. This means more to me than anything else. Thank you Wells Fargo.
