Marienella profiled me while bringing in a check today. Requested to put an extra hold on the deposit "information indicated the check might not be paid" . I had literally just left Sierra Gold and Silver shop and they wrote me a check. All she had to do was call to make sure it was a valid check. Due to the hold I am now going to have to pay late fees on making my credit card payment because she profiled me as I was just getting off of work and rushed over to deposit it so I could have the funds available early next week. Excellent service. They also helped us out with our accounts when someone tried to hack us! They were professional, efficient and very kind - I was freaked out at first, and they calmed me down. Amazing staff and management people!
Had a savings bond but didn’t know anything about it. Went into the bank to redeem it and was confused when a $200 face value bond was only redeemable for $123.36. Bankers weren’t helpful. They couldn’t answer when it was issued or when it would fully mature. Ended up redeeming it based on their information only to find it printed on the receipt that it was issued in 2008 and after doing research, found that EE notes are guaranteed to double in face value after 20 years.
