Contrary to the recent reviews below, the bank tellers and mgmt are unknowledgable and unable to provide any explanation as to why a given process may not work. For example, when trying to pay off my credit card in person with my *fully funded* debit card, I was literally told, "Sometimes it works for people - sometimes it doesn't and we're unable to help you or offer an explanation why." For someone that runs $100k through their Wells Fargo credit card each year and has successfully paid off my credit card at this branch ma... read more
I have done my personal banking with Wells Fargo for many years, mostly with this branch. The manager and staff have always been very nice, and helpful. The branch manager has helped me untangle some problems that were our fault, and not the banks. Friendly and helpful service is what I have always received here.
Not sure where all the bad reviews are coming from, because everyone I have encountered at this branch has been fantastic. The tellers, managers, etc., have all been thoughtful, patient, and knowledgeable. In this day and age, when a lot of banks are closing branches (because they are expensive to own/run, and it is hard to keep good people), it is nice to have a place to go where you can actually talk to a human being. I would disregard the poor reviews from previous years. I’ve been visiting this Wells Fargo branch since moving to the Grass Valley area four months ago (July 2024) and have nothing but nice things to say about the visits and transactions. Lines have been short as a walk-in and appointments easy to make on-line. Both tellers and branch managers have always been pleasant, personable, and efficient.
