We wanted to make a quick deposit of cash. Went to the driveup, put the cash in with a printed deposit slip. A voice said, " you have to have an ID to deposit!" To deposit cash?? we asked...so my husband put in his WellsFargo credit card. Back comes the tube...you need a photo ID says the voice. So on the 3rd attempt it goes thru. Mind you, we were putting money in NOT taking it out!! This bank is the absolute WORST we have ever used in 60 years. Every time I want to believe this is a good bank, they disappoint me… The worst bank and the worst banking service…
They never answer their phones and can't do anything without an appointment. What is simple service at other banks is frustrating at WF in Clayton, NC. I personally don't use WF but my sister does and I am her POA.
I’m curious as to the possibility of this bank being any less efficient. There were about 8 available representatives when I walked in. I’m down to 4. Waiting on a notary. It will be just a second. After many seconds of waiting they have nothing available. They recommended I go somewhere else.
