Banks have a simple responsibility: hold a customer’s money in trust, pay a fair return for the use of that money, and make those funds available according to the customer’s wishes. Wells Fargo manages to fail on all three. The most infuriating example is its treatment of checks from major, highly reputable financial institutions such as Charles Schwab, Jackson Financial, and Merrill Lynch. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. The customer service was well below expectations. The staff was unhelpful, lacked professionalism, and did not seem interested in resolving my concerns. I felt that my questions were not answered clearly, and there was very little effort to provide assistance or communicate effectively. I hope the organization takes this feedback seriously and focuses on improving customer service through better communication, professionalism, and responsiveness. An excellent bank to deal with. Bankers such as Nirmali Silva are experts in understanding the banking needs of the client, providing the best advice and guiding the customers through the process they require.
