As a long standing WF customer, I spoke with the Notary Public, Chris, at this branch in the afternoon yesterday. He gave a variety of excuses about why he could only notarize my signature but not my daughter’s because she was not a WF customer( even though I have had a trust account for her in the bank for 19 years!). Wells Fargo sold my mortgage back in 2022 to another bank, which is fine, but never sent me the proper 1098 tax form. Getting them to send this information to me has been a complete circus and unfortunately preventing me from finalizing my taxes. It should be much easier then this

I've been a loyal Wells Fargo banker for many years and typically have great service. However, this branch doesn't only lack customer service, but also lacks the ability to problem solve. They refused to deposit a check. When I asked what the issue was and explained that I have made the same deposit before, they still refused, citing that it was not a business account. I drove two miles down the street to another branch and was welcomed warmly and had no issue depositing the same check.
