Good banking system but suddenly lowering its standards in expecting customers to manually fill up forms (like the 3rd world Countries) while making counter withdrawals. A bit time wasting and disappointing

Walked in at 4:35 pm, 25 mins before the branch closed, ready to open a bank account. The greeter was very nice, but the one banker available, who I was told was the only one who could open the account, said I would have to make an appointment online. He was also pretty rude and completely unsympathetic that I had literally ridden a bike up the Riverdale Avenue hill, to come in person, as I needed to deposit a physical check to start the funds for the account. I popped into this Wells Fargo branch late in the afternoon, unsure if they would be able ro assist me that day - or at all. I didn’t wait 1 second as Paola the warm and professional teller greeted me and immediately got to work helping me with what I needed. I was in and out the door in a few minutes. Paola and her coworker were incredible professional while also very warm and welcoming. When I inquired if she was a banker, she informed me she was a teller but asked if I was interested in meeting with one of their bankers. ... read more
