I went to the bank 12/31/24 with my fiancé to cash a check . The check was on the larger side so i completely understand that they would have to verify it. But as we walked in I saw the manager and I said well like to deposit a check into my fiancé account. I’m really upset, and they need to do better. On the last day before Christmas, the bank put up a sign saying they would close at 12 PM that day and remain closed the following day. Meanwhile, other banks like MCU, Chase, and Citibank stayed open. Wells Fargo, however, closed early at 12 PM. The number of people standing outside, confused and frustrated, clearly showed this was unusual and unexpected. It felt completely out of the norm.
