My review applies only to the branch at 900 W. Indiantown Road in Jupiter, FL. I recently moved to a new address (just a few doors down the hall in my apartment building) and stopped by the branch to notify them of a change of address and to get some new checks printed with my new address on them. Despite repeated requests, they refused to process a change of address or print new checks without my supplying proof of my new residence - even though I had been an existing customer for decades. Zero stars, actually. Since last October I have been attempting to make a complete balance payment in order to close my credit card account. This involved going in person to my old bank in Durango CO, (I live in Germany by the way), wherein they made a mistake and did not quote the correct balance, meaning I did not pay the correct final amount. I have been a customer for over 20 years at the Merchant's Walk branch in Marietta, GA. I am heading for Mexico on Saturday and picked up the $400 in Mexican pesos at the bank this morning. When I got home I opened the sealed envelope only to find that they were short 2,000 pesos. This bank makes so many mistakes. Last time I was traveling to Europe, they completely botched another foreign currency pickup. Previously, they mixed up a wire transfer. You can't count on this bank. My Mate had a fraudulent charge on her card, so the usual is to go to the Bank (I use Village Bank, Friendly Neighborhood service), and cancel your card and get a new card. When I had to do that at Village Bank, they have me come right in that day and get me a new card....Wells Fargo is making her wait 10 days for a new card to come in, so she will be significantly delayed on paying bills......what a crock of S>/"......how is this even legal? We made an appt to have a document notarized today and the window for our appt was 1-2 pm. We arrived at 1. There were the only customers inside the bank. After having our documents notarized and still no other customers there but us, we asked if we could have a name added to an account while we were there. It was 1:08. Rude old blond on cashier
I phoned the branch on Burnsed Blvd in the Villages, FL to inquire about doing a simple banking transaction, I am a non-customer and made it very clear to the bank representative that I was a non-customer, I was told that the branch would be able to handle my transaction in the bank lobby with a teller. I drove to the branch to only be told that the transaction could not be handled. I requested to speak to the branch manager who I found to be less than professional and very discourteous and laughed about my concern.
I used to avoid this location till now, but I had to make a deposit, so I had to stop at this location, they have new tellers now, I met this new lady not sure of her name as they do not have name plates, but as per my conversation with her I believe her last name is Patel, as soon as I walk in, she greeted me with big and beautiful smile, I went there to only do deposit, but she educated me with depositing checks on my phones as well as taking money out from atm, and in addition, she help me understood reasons for us to pr... read more
I bank with Wells Fargo and primarily use the 10921 N. Scottsdale Rd location as the company I work for for the last 13 years is directly across the street. I have worked with Sam Rayyan (Associate Personal Banker) at this location for quite a while and he has been instrumental with my banking needs and has exceptional customer service. I trust him completely, he has gone above and beyond for me in guidance through an extremely stressful banking situation. I am very grateful for his service.
